| Is it red? Looks more "chocolate" to me.
Red velvet?

| Well I am red/green colourblind but it looks like a sort of maroonish red to me. I really like it. Doesn't mean it's red though.... | |

| British paints call it Indian red but I don't think they've ever seen an Indian in the flesh My Cagiva Elefant with it's 900 Ducati motor is the usual Ducati red. I wanted something more restrained for the GRiSO that would contrast with the carbon fibre. The end result is what I was hoping for. | |

| A pic outside with more light would be good. I like it.

| Comparing it to the red badge, it looks sort of brick red to me. I like it. I agree, some daylight on it will give us a better look. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]“Danger + Survival = Fun.” - Neil Peart[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Nice color and compliments the design. Looks a bit like merlot red or sangria. Interesting | |

| The colour I wanted to match was the red on this GRiSO cafe racer [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] This is what the Britsh paints Indian red came out as. I took the paint card to Resene and had them match it in Resene Durepox 2k which is a primer. The clearcoat is Awlcraft 2000. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| GDay Evans
Luv the paint works . Looking good.
Have you thought of getting the wheels re powder coated in a black to match the pipe, foot peg plates etc ? The odd grey blue colour wheels is something, for mine that doesn’t sit with my eye.
I have to get mine redone as I live near the ocean and Luigi in Mandello never thought to protect his bikes from the salt. Lots of filiform corrosion forming under the paint/coating on the wheels.

| Fortunately my GRiSO has always been garaged so no corrosion problems. The wheels are black, presumably with UV and weathering they lose their original colour | |

| G'day Evans Keeping the bike garaged didn't seem make much difference in corrosion protection when you live near the sea.
I was looking at the picture or your freshly painted muffler. The colour of your back wheel is what itbwas referring too. I am thinking of matching the wheels with "pork chop" or foot peg controls hangar bracket. I wasn't sure to go matt or gloss but after seeing the gloss black wheels on the GRiSO Cafe racer. Gloss looks the goods | |

| The camera is lying. The wheels are a very, very dark blue but they look black to the eye. Looking forward to seeing how your wheels turn out. I chose a GRiSO because of the classic look that lends itself to customising. Another view of the Rossuopuro cafe racer and Inzuma cafe racer. Too extreme for me but shows the potential for customising. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
