I was having some trouble lately with the battery, not kicking over. Pulling it out, the battery lead just popped off at the crease/fold in the connector. Curious to know if anyone else has had this happen? I believe the $70 lesson (GU32748010) is: disconnect leads before pulling the battery from its home. Been there, made my own out of sheet copper (thick stuff), tin plated it afterwards. Been good for years!

I do it all the time. Hmm.
My battery weighs as much as two chook eggs, so there's probs no strain. May need to prepare for the inevitable.
