| Hi all, Has anybody had issues with the seat of the G riso not locking into place? Mine seems to be inserted properly in the front over the batter, and it engages the two hooks on either side of the seat. The cone bit seems to be properly enter in the lock hole, it just doesn’t seem to engage the latch, which I can see move quite freely when turning the key to unlock. Weird. I’m thinking that the plastic base of the lock cone is to high which prevents it to be inserted for it to engage the latch. Thanks | |

| I know it's an obvious question, but are you sure there's nothing new under the seat stopping it from engaging the lock?
Mine has to be pressed over the lock area to make it catch. I'm happy with this as there's no chance of any seat wobble.

| Pretty sure it’s all clear under there but I’ll have another closer look.

| Try unscrewing the cone and add a washer. I had to do that on my corbin. | |

| Mine takes a fist pop right on the passenger area to latch. Takes a pop to come off too.

Mine is he same. Sometimes it takes a couple of hits to release it and a big push down to get it to lock.

| Something I just thought of. I experienced this when I tried to jam too many items in the tool roll compartment. Try it with the compartment emptied and see if it helps. | |

| Too put on mine I turn the key and put pressure on the pass seat and release key. Not issues removing it | |

| Found out the reason for the seat not locking into place: The steel cone is embedded and fused in the plastic of the under seat. On mine there was a thin (3mm) ring of plastic surrounding it that made it impossible for the cone to finally push into place in the latch. Dremmelled off the excess plastic surrounding the base of the cone, and whan-bam-done ! Seat locks into place sweet as a nut. WIN ! | |
