Hi. Considering the very low space onboard on our bike, what kind of brake disk lock do you use? And in this case where do you place it while riding (of course in the case you're without cases and bags)?
Thank you

Terrible things! You'll forget to take it off and smash the disc and fork leg casting. Just pull the main 30 amp fuse if you're worried. No matter what you do it won't help if the thieves load it into a van!
Anyway, it's a 15 year old Moto Guzzi. The only people who'd steal one with a van would need a psychiatric assessment and they're hard to get going if you don't know the user code, even if you force the ignition switch!

I use an Oxford Alpha XA14. Its pretty robust, has a built in alarm which screams if motion is detected and it's small enough to drop into a little bag and place under the seat (if you have the snorkel removed!).

Or if you have a lithium battery which give enough space underneath

This guy promotes the "Roadlok Disc Lock" (for his Mandello): YouTube link. It stays on your bike, so you can't forget it when you go riding. Worth a try? (Disclaimer: I have not used it myself so no clue if it is safe and practical.)
This is what I use, built in motion alarm. I have a cord that I hang off the grip which prevents forgetting it's there. There is also an extension allowing to use it to tether to a post for longer term security It will fit in your jacket pocket, heavy though.
