"New" 2014 GRiSO Owner

Hello from Minnesota! I purchased a leftover 2014 GRiSO last month that had been gathering dust and cobwebs at a Piaggio/Vespa dealer in Minneapolis. I had been scouring the market for one of these and didn't think I'd find one so close to home. It had a great discount and runs perfectly! I traded in a Triumph Sprint 1050ST and absolutely love the GRiSO. I've ridden motorcycles for 40+ years and had all sorts of styles. At this point in my life, 95% of my riding is back-roads cruising and short trips around town. I don't need a full dresser or massive cruiser. I value a good suspension, lighter weight and excellent handling. I love a motorcycle in the traditional sense that shows it's components, has shiny bits and spoked wheels. I was smitten with Grisos ever since they were introduced and now that I've ridden 700+ miles on my GRiSO, I feel it's the best motorcycle I've ever owned. Absolutely love it.

Here’s a photo of my pride & joy.I managed to get it around two years ago.It was one of only four new bikes left in the country.You will enjoy every moment riding this unique machine.

I also have the 2014 same as you. It’s been a great machine and with some help from this site it’s even better than new. The two biggest things for me were getting better tires and beetles map for the stock exhaust. With the map, no popping on deceleration and overall much better performance, a real noticeable difference. The metzeler tires were much harder and didn’t provide the grip I have now with pirelli tires. I changed mine because they were 4 years old and hard. You might put those on your Christmas list as yours are 5 years old.

Welcome, I'm 3 hours south of you and have everything to remap. I get up to the cities some. Bought 3 bikes up there in the last year.
