fork position in triple tree Empty
PostSubject: fork position in triple tree   fork position in triple tree Icon_minitime1Sun Sep 15, 2019 1:23 am

Could someone help me with info regarding the original position of the forks in the triple tree?

My recently acquired 1200se feels very different at the front end to my previous 1100. It feels a little skittish and does have a tendency to dive in a little. The forks are currently set to the 3rd ring on the forks. Thanks, Steve.

Hi Steve,
the workshop manual says 4 rings for standard use and 5 rings for racing setup.
But I guess the "diving in" you mentioned is more related to your compression damping setting (0.5-1 rotation open for racaing/standard).
