| Hi there, I have owned 3 Guzzis starting with a Le Mans II I bought from Peter Roper in 2006. Loved it and should have kept it but sold it for medical reasons. I then had a Breva 750 - a bed decision as it wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. In 2013 I bought a 2009 GRiSO 8V that had 1,030km (yes 1,030km) on the clock. The first owner bought it, added $3k of extras and returned it the next week saying he didn't like it - he traded it on a Harley; enough said. It was not rollerised and a few years later Pete Roper did the right thing by me and he and Michael did a superb job on her. Unfortunately, a bit later in the piece a local 'mechanic' decided to fix my leaky main bearing by knocking the main bearing out from inside using a cold chisel. A lot of dosh later Pete and Michael again resurrected Gertie and she runs sweet as a nut. Her only quirk is that when the ambient temperature is < 15C I have to open the throttle a smidgin to start her up. She has a Termignoni muffler, a Stucci luggage rack, heated grips, a power socket and a Givi windshield (hated by Pete Roper) that works a treat - far better than the boy racer OEM one. I've now done 3.00km on her and I love her constant (until exploding at 6.000rpm) power, her amazing handling and just the fact that you know you are sitting on top of a breathing, rumbling beast. I look forward to sharing with you all the joys of GRiSO! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| OMG... theres a lot of things a mech may accidently do wrong, but a cold chisel on a main bearing??? Lucky we have Pete in Aus, otherwise people would unwittingly go to TeamHomo for mechanical work...once - BowraBoy wrote:

| Great Looking bike. That windshield looks like the business. I'll look into one. The "boy racer" is better than none. | |

Welcome back, Bra! You work too hard, need to stretch your legs on a new GRiSO! For those of you who don't know, Steven is the owner/proprietor of Ono Poke, the best Hawaiian fast food around! | Absolutely! Just a dream in all bar Sydney peak hour traffic, which I encounter only a couple of times per year. | |

| I used to live in Sydney and always left home early to meet the gang at the start of the Old Pacific Hwy and give it the berries before the cops got out and about. During the week days its a pain in Sydney. | |
