Time for oil change.
In need for filter and filter wrench.
Local shop in the Netherlands sold me the replacement for the Hiflofiltro HF551.
New filter is the MANN W712/4 and got the same length. New wrench is the MANN LS7. Fits HF551 as the MANN filter.
Be aware that mine is a 2009 GRiSO. 3.1 liter as read in other oil topics is the exact amount oil needed.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

No clue about the difference (if any) between these filters, or between these vs the regular UFI oil filter. But I like the bottom of the Mann filter: that makes it much easier to get it off again.
Regarding the oil quantity: best to start with 3 liters only and then see if you need to add more. For me, 3 liters is exactly right.

I filled the filter and popped 3 litres in as read elsewhere on the forum, now seems like its over filled

Drain some out if you think it’s too full. I’ve had to do that before to feel comfortable.

Up garage today got a few issues Want to check I did head race up sufficiently Possible failure of newly replaced universal joint, feels like a warped brand new rear brake disc at low speed, like a drag or flat spot. Will syphon some oil out too get it half way up the stick. Above could be oil getting into throttle body
