2015 GRiSO 1200 SE -

Working on reloading a new Beetle Map, and also checking the throttle bodies per guidance from here, but before I get to that activity, I notice for the first time that there is an evaporative tubing that goes to a 3 way plastic T near the left hand throttle body, but there's no third tube attached there on the single portion of the T, just on both horizontal portions of the T.

The only other evaporative tube I see NOT connected to anything descends from the tank and is far too short to connect to this T-section I believe...may have to pull the tank off to see if it's crimped there and it really should connect.

Just curious if anyone has a schematic of the evap lines handy...my diagramatic book hasn't arrived yet.  Wondering if this has anything to do with the rich fueling issues I am having that is causing the pipes to purple...would like to check this before i load the new Beetle Map and then do the throttle bodies to see if it makes any difference!

Thanks All!

Thank you...now to hunt for that hose that connects to #9! Much appreciated Mark!

I take the 'T' out and install a strait connector. No plugged hose to worry about. Then just 3 lines empty under bike. Airbox drain, tank vent and fuel cap drain. All routed to not be by the exhaust.

Thanks Steve...I don’t think the bike has had a canisterectomy, need to check.  Do you do a straight connector even while keeping the canister?

Good suggestion on the routing of the lines...I’ll check that!

You can't miss it, it's bolted under trans inside of R/H foot peg. I don't know why you would keep it on unless you move to CA and have to have it.
You can also just run a new piece of vacuum line from L intake to the R intake for a clean look.
It comes off w/2 bolts, back one is for frame member, front is a big button head & does nothing else.

Perfect thank you!

Found the hose that attaches to the T - had been tucked in way underneath...got it connected again.n Now I see where the canister is...was thinking it was tucked under the seat like the Norge, but not enough room there, so it makes sense it's hanging off the bottom. Time for surgery to remove it!

Now onto the throttle bodies...tested the screws and they were tight...hopefully that means someone hasn't messed with them and we're balanced, but worthwhile to check!
