| Hi Just received a corbin gunfighter seat
The piece that slots into the locking mechanism from the underside of the back of the seat won't click into the lock No matter how hard I push the rear or adjust it, I can't get it to fit into the lock Seems to be in roughly the right position, over the lock It's almost like it not long enough?
Any ideas?
Cheers Steve | |

| I think others have had the same issue, too. Maybe they will be along presently. | |

| Mine was the same way. It points towards the back of the bike too much, or at least mine did.
I took a two pound hammer and lightly tapped it towards the front until it finally fit straight down.
Mine went in the first time but I couldn't get it off the bike until I had to take a long screwdriver and a lot of cussing and forcing until it came off. That is when I was able to use a flashlight and look between the bottom of the seat and the bike to see what the problem was.
Now mine pops on and off with no problems

| I had also the problem. I filed slightly the piece under the seat that slots into the mechanism and finally it works. Thoroughness and patience and it will be allright | |

| Try adding a washer under the locking stud on the Corbin. Worked for me! | |

Correct, unscrews and has long enough threads that adding a washer still leaves plenty of engagement.
