| The fleabay seller where I bought my cast rear wheel has another one up for the paltry sum of $60 plus $19 shipping. I paid the same price a while back. These are NOS, made in Italy, with a few very minor scuffs from storage. Deal of the century. Now if I can just find a front for a reasonable price. They seem to be much rarer for some reason. | Yes, he sold out and isn’t sure if he’ll get more. I can wait. My spokes aren’t leaking much yet. They’re just a royal PITA to clean and they are showing some corrosion. Not the quality steel expected for the application. | |

| Watch out with front wheels, they were used in v11 and some ducati, and have different machined center | |

| Thanks guys. Yes, I was tempted by a cheap V11 wheel, but I understand now they are not interchangeable. Looking at the parts diagrams for GRiSO, Norge and Sport, there are various part numbers for the wheels. Some are reasonably priced new from a dealer, while others are extremely expensive. Is it a question of Italian vs Chinese origin? It appears the alloy wheels are all the same and interchangeable between these models. So why the huge variance in price for different part numbers? | |

| Here is what I’m talking about. The page below shows two wheel options. The first part number, 883883, is priced around $300 new from the US dealers. The second part number is priced over $700. What is ZCV? Chinese manufacturer? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| I got the answer from Ed at AF1:
“That is correct, one is supplied by Brembo and the other by ZCV brand (never heard of, probably from the Piaggio Zong Chen scooter division). Same color, aside from some casting/brand marks, 100% identical”
Hmm, Chinese wheels. I’m going to have to think on that. | |
