PRE-LOAD WRENCH I never had a wrench to adjust the preload on my GRiSO so I chewed this one out of 1/8" aluminum plate using a coping saw, took me about 20 minutes start to finish. Guzzi cheap too The curve to fit the Sachs adjustment nut is 38mm Radius (76 Diameter) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Actually the handle is just a bit too long, won't quite swing between the strut and rear tire. No, I don't measure stuff and I didn't say it was pretty. Sorry about the huge image, I haven't figured out how to size them yet.
WHEEL MOUNTING AID "wheel-liner-upper" If ever you have struggled getting the rear wheel back onto your bike, hard to line up the holes and get the screws started, This is just a 70 x 12 MS bolt from the hardware store with the head cut off. Needs the screw driver slot to get it back out, don't make it any longer than 70 mm or the tire won't fit in behind the muffler. I tried it out last night, what a difference, took a fraction of the time it usually takes. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Nice idea Roy. Shame the pictures won't work here, or is it just me?

Good Job there Kiwi. Like the Maori runes on the new tool.

Top marks for the wheel mounting stud. Like all good ideas it's blindingly obvious now you've seen it.

The wheel alignment studs took all of 10 minutes each. Doesn't matter the quality of the material.

When I had my Stelvio I saw a post about using two of the long set screws that use an allen wrench. I got them from McMaster Carr. I kept them and now use them on the GRiSO. I use two and makes mounting the rear wheel a snap

Made 6 so far, with a pocket full of bolts to be converted later. I love work, specially when you can make progress like this...

You only have 4 threaded holes, I hope you don't intend to use them to replace the wheel bolts LOL
