| I find it interesting he's gone for the 1100 and not the 1200 2V engine - is there a weight difference there? I believe there is also not much output difference between the two, but don't know for sure. Looks a sweet ride though. | |

| He had some bullshit reason about heat, for using a 2V engine. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

Certainly power wise there is virtually nothing in it so if you can pick up a 1100 motor cheap why not? The rugged simplicity of the 2V donk makes perfect sense for this kind of bike, it would be my choice.

| The 8V engine weighs about 75kg more than the 2V. It makes a raucous din and frightens small children even when not running. It's tappets are made of plasticine and even after a roller upgrade, the rollers are actually fruit tingles covered in tinfoil. It's a vile turd of a thing that will explode willy-nilly, sending red hot shrapnel into your buttocks. Fuel economy is terrible and you get about 13 mpg. Owning one instantly makes you uncool and unattractive to your sexual preference. All 8V owners should instantly set fire to themselves so that the 2V owners are no longer embarrassed.

| Or just donate you 8V engines to me - I will put them to good use. Oh and if you have a flat tappet engine, please ensure you make a hefty donation towards rollerisation as well as you paying the freight to this land down unda! | |

I find the bit about setting fire to oneself a gross exaggeration in a otherwise thoughtful and infomative reply Mark.

| I find adding a bit of cheek to an otherwise sombre discussion can reduce the sorrow of the bitter truth. I may have gone too far. Perhaps instead of recommending self immolation, a simple red-hot poker to the eye would suffice. No?

| "no longer embarrassed" by our red headed step brother??? We of the 2V Ditch Pump Klub are never openly, publicly, outspokenly, vociferously, ashamed of our overvalved and superiorly complicated brother. well, there was that one time... | |

| I own both 8V and 4V engines in the GRiSO trim. The 8V does everything better...more ponies, torque, mid range and even sounds better in my opinion. And that's before Mark's map. Can't help it if some shaved apes prefer the 4V. Putting the 8V in that custom bike would have made it gooder. | |

The peg height / seat height combination looks cramped to me, even moreso than the beloved GRiSO. Personally, I'd like to see that saddle ride a bit higher. | I'm with Rossopuro guy on the 2V. I really didn't like the 4V motor that much - *runs and hides* The seat does look low but I guess he built it for his own use so it'll fit his dimensions...
