| And so the beast with the new fairing is almost ready. It's a trial fit, when it gets a bit warmer I will paint the inside. Went on easily, a little bit of junior hacksaw and some spacers Oh the benefits of a black bike :-) To the others who have the same fairing I expect you will tell me it does nothing for wind resistance! I think I have traded in my fast cruiser for a fast bruiser :-) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I have the same fairing. I like the air flow but at 80+ mph it can push on you pretty good. Very clean air and no turbulence on my helmet. I like it.

| Looking good Keith; going with the black caped crusader theme perhaps you could dye your old blue shorts & wear them over your trousers | |

No turbulence but the force of the wind pushing me backwards can get tiring quickly, and if you have a head wind to boot, uncomfortable to me. I am 6' tall with a 32" inseam. Sitting on the floor with my back to the wall it is 35" to the top of my head, just for a reference point.

| Good looking ride. How do you like the Oxford heated grips? Did you self install? | |

| The Oxfod grips are great, they are the sport bike versions as they are the thinest. Only two problems, they are a little harder and slighly fatter than the orignal grips and the lead has/is slowly marking the top of the tank each time i go onto full lock or put the steering lock on.
Fitted by the service shop a couple of years ago.

| If it's the same as mine, it's an Emgo Venom and you can get them from Ebay.

| That is cool; a bit more style than the Dart Classic!

| How does this compare, wind protection wise, to the Dart Marlin? Looks like the Marlin is a bit taller?
Love the looks of this Emgo, just looks a bit short/low for much wind protection.
