Now winter is here in Blighty and the roads are full are full of muck and shite I've got round to a few mods for my GRiSO 1100.
First up was the side stand which I find a bit awkward to use so I've added a door stop rubber to allow my size 10s(UK) to get a better grip on it and also fitted a 'shoe' to the base to let the bike stand slightly more upright.
I made this out of 10mm alu plate, profiled it slightly larger than the stand foot and secured it with two M6 countersunk screws. This could have been larger for softer ground I suppose.
Next I fitted a set of Vario 30mm lowered footpegs. The trouble then was the brake lever was too high so I manged to find some lowered toe pegs all the way from China, cheap as chips and nicely made. These I extended a little but that was not strictly necessary.
