2007 GRiSO was unridden not wanted

Hello. So in July I saw a 2007 GRiSO out east on craigs list and contacted the seller and pretty soon I would be
driving 1000 miles to see and ride it, exchanging a fair amount of cash, renting a trailer and dragging it back to a new home in Wisconsin. After getting new tires and oil plus mirrors etc. I got it home again and looked under the air filter cover and found a huge pile of corn mixed with fluffy shredded filter material and rodent droppings. I did get a few chances to ride it before hibernation and maybe by next summer I can get going more and make some better pictures.

Your swing arm and shock bearings will need some grease, they only put a smell on them at the factory ...

I feel lucky to have found it too and it's great to be able to find help for the care and upkeep. Like the time the tank vent quit venting. The shop is Dunn's Import/Vespa-Moto Guzzi in Middleton, Wisconsin.
A very good place for newer models say after 2006. The idea for getting a Guzzi was to have it to ride to WMGR club meetings and rallies no touring or stunts. We like going on back road rides but pretty slow on the tight turns.

Got back from the auction which was yesterday, the 2006 GRiSO with 13 miles went for $5000

That sounds like a fair value. Maybe the lucky bidder could slap on a set of Pirelli Angel GT's battery and do an oil change in time for a good run before weather gets worse. Hoping for spring to come early.
