Subject: New to me 2007 GRiSO 1100 Sat Jul 10, 2021 11:46 am
Just picked up this week a new to me 2007 GRiSO 1100 with 27,000km on it from a good friend of mine, i've been lurking around this forum for 5-ish years mostly to help my friend working on his bike, and i ended up buying it from him!
Ironically, these photos are from 2016 when my friend first bought it and i went to check it out -the old Honda beside it is my bike-, he let me test ride and it and i was HOOKED, and now its mine!

Beautiful bike. And the black VFR is a keeper too. I think they'd make good stable mates.

The VFR is a keeper for sure, have had ot for 7-8 years, I'll probably put into storage and give it some TLC while i enjoy the GRiSO (it's long overdue for suspension refresh, valve check, coolant, ..etc.)

Enjoy it mate. BTW, I spent 14mths at CFB Gagetown in 81/82 as an Aussie on course and I fell in love with the Maritimes. A top part of the world. Riding the GRiSO on the Cabot trail would be terrific.

Small world, i used to work in CFB Gagetown (CFSME), I'm on deployment now so won't get to see or ride my GRiSO until next season likely. Cabot trail is a favourite but haven't dont it in few years

Ahhh, the Cabot Trail... Back on July 27, 2001, (our 27th wedding anniversary) I left Baddeck at day break, intending to ride the Cabot trail and be back by noon. Brochures said 4 1/2 hours, I was on a CBX,,,
I hadn't planned to sit on a bluff, watching whales, or stopping to watch eagles diving for fish, or just going slow and listening to the waves crashing. Eight plus hours later, I arrived back at the lodge.

I had a camp nearer the center of the province for about ten years. Just let it go about a year and a half ago. Would definitely like to get some ride time in up there, someday.
