Hi i'm a svelte 108Kgs incl all riding gear.

The spring is 59-59-110-130. You'll have to decipher what the numbers mean.

Yours looks to be a 110Nm spring rate. Mine's a 95Nm and I'm 85kgs riding weight.

Hi all,

this is a continuing saga,

The suspension guy who replaced the shock found the bottom linkages "notchy". he strongly recommended getting the bushes/bearings replaced. He even went to the effort of noting this on the invoice. Crying or Very sad

Also when removing the battery, one battery lug broke, and there is a lot of corrosion around the terminals, so i suppose i'll have to get a lithium battery now.

When i get it to the dealer i'll get the suspension bushes/bearings checked/greased/replaced and while I'm at it get the swingarm etc greased as well.

I said it was a known issue with MG that there isn't much greasing from the factory, his comment was, most bikes except KTMs are the same, "you'd be lucky if they sneezed on it, at the factory" Exclamation

. Also this is why KTMs are expensive

Also apart form the effort of getting to the suspension shop he charged less than 1 hours labour Very Happy

There are a shit-tonne of bearings and seals in the linkage con-rod. By the time you've paid someone to replace them all the cost is close to or equivalent to just buying a new one. For that reason we just replace them if the needles are stuffed. Just make sure the new one is well packed before it goes on.
