| It is also the perfect space to conceal a pair of unblemished and unsoiled goat leggings but we won't continue with that theme for fear of upsetting some of our more...'Delicate' contributors........... | |

You get slighly more if you put a K&N filter on the top.........as it allows in bigger bits of air (rocks i believe)

| Yeh right Sid, did you consider how much airspace those rocks would take up in the bottom of your air box? |

| Some of this rocks could end up in the cylinder, thus taking up space and reducing the swept volume, causing a performance loss. | Well. Yes, yes I did! Actually the later clutches are I think a tad heavier but in all honesty apart from in circumstances like a track bike like yours a combination of higher compression ratio, different, closer, gearing and more overall torque mean that for most ordinary users the chasing of the eternally lighter flywheel has become a bit of a furphy. I know that my bits of shit, both of which run 2012 motive units. Spin up just fine. What weirds me out is how the Turdio I can ignore the clutch pretty much both up and down the box! My G8 will punish me, especially on down changes if I fuck it up! Why? I have absolutely no idea! Pete | |

| If you pull the clutch lever for more than a few seconds, you don't get the famous KLOONK (brick in a bucket of water) when you select first gear at the lights ... most of the time. | |

Wait, my neighbor's friend's daughter dates a biker who said that putting rocks in the cylinder increases compression and therefore, power (though it also increases the risk of engine knock).

Because you'll be bouncing off the rev-limiter from all the extra power? Best thing is, you can wash them too. Think of all the tens of dollars saved on air filters
