| I will be in Frankfurt on Wednesday, albeit for a very short time at airport; Würzburg on Thursday and Friday morning, and several days in Tuttlingen (south of Stuttgart, near Boden See).
Then, in the following week, will be in Genoa, Manarola, Asti (or near), and Milan before heading home.
I post this because I am the need of a common -- but difficult to find without PITA and too much money (in my cheap opinion) -- part.
It is GU03101600, a rubber gasket that fits between the fuel tank and the cap. Long story, but I need two.
It is c.55mm inside diameter, and c.60 outside. Can't find (so far, at least) a substitute in auto-parts places or hardware stores here. Assume better to have something fuel resistant.
Anyway, I am going to attempt to fabricate same here when I return from Europe, but thought I'd ask if anyone here might know a Guzzi or other source in Germany or Italy relatively close to my destinations. I am usually a bit more flexible when I travel, but less so this trip. Still, can probably get away to grab these if they were available.
Danke & Grazie!
Bill

| Bill, you might want to reach out to Onur. If my iffy memory serves me, he was shipping some gaskets with one or more versions of his GIVI Tanklock adapters. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2012 MOTO GUZZI GRiSO 1200SE2013 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO 1200NTX - Orange Blossom Special | |

| Thanks, Steak & Pete. Already am getting to Onur on a related issue, and may add this if not resolved sooner. Plus, he is, I think, on his GRiSO now in Italy. Won't return for a bit. Lucky fellow. And, Pete, we are flying into Frankfurt and out of Malpensa with little to no time near the latter. Moreover, the Italy part of this trip is a "Kathi-focused" vacation, and, as she has been so darn indulgent to me over the years and so looking forward to our time in the Cinque Terre that I am loathe to do a major deviation for a Guzzi mission, especially as this item, while somewhat unobtanium, is available if I just suck up the cost (likely exceeded by a run to Mandello) or just fabricate it. Doubting that any Germans or Italians here know of a major Guzzi source where I asked, but we'll see. Thanks again. Headed to airport in an hour. Used FF miles for this trip in "Delta One;" [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] For a guy with a history of traveling in steerage, this should be adequate. Yee ha. Bill | |

| Hi Bill, From Cinque Terre or nearby La Spezia you can take a quick run to Parma (120kms) and go see Guareschi Moto (http://www.guareschimoto.it). They are a decent MG dealer, I bought a few things from them while in Piacenza to visit my folks. L | |

| Not cheap are they! $27 from Teo. I can stick a couple on my next order and flick them over to you in an envelope if you like.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Possibly. It was an "adequate" way to cross the Atlantic. Understand that our return on an Airbus something will even more posh than the Boeing. I will not object. And, thanks Pete & Omnis. Can't get to Parma this time but may call to see if they have 'em and what ransom they seek! Bill | |
