| My little 7 year old boy has had a marked dislike of mcycles for some reason since he was old enough to say so. I've had a Speed Triple all his life but he secretly told his mum that he likes them a bit now as the GRiSO smells nice.... | |

| I noticed when I first started getting Italian motorcycles. They have a distinctly different aroma than Japanese or British bikes. | |

| Seriously, after a long ride with a lot of low flying heavy throttle use to get the big G hot and bothered, after leaving her panting in the garage, you return later and cop a wiff of that sweet smell of hot oil and fuel. Mmmmmm! --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

While I agree with the sentiment my GRiSO is waaaaaay too much of a tractor to called "highly string".

| 3 bikes in my garage; 1200 GRiSO, 650 Suzuki Freewind, and a lovely little Honda C90. After a ride they all leave their distinctive aroma. All are evocative of joy of biking, but the big MG is the scent to savor! |

| Getting your nose into that particular area will be interesting - is there a Pinocchio in the audience? | |

| GRiSO threads never die! Shortly after I brought the GRiSO home my wife commented on its unique smell, which has gotten to be a bit sweeter since the headers were ceramic coated.
True enough my Guzzi does smell different than the others.

Pete For the most part I have. Shoulder still sore enough to limit some mobility and keep me from mountain biking and rowing for a while longer but I've had the Tuono and scooter out for a few spins. GRiSO damage is what you'd expect from going down on the right side: oil cooler frame, brake lever, mirror, valve cover, CARC and foot pegs all scratched up. Few other little things. I'll pocket a good portion of the insurance money by leaving the CARC and getting some used parts. Also gives me a chance to get rid of the ridiculous carbon bits and Rizoma mirrors that came with the bike and go back to stock. Was spooked that first day but am happy to be riding again and look forward to putting my Lonelec calbles to the test and playing with some maps.
