| Datalogging during driving can learn you a lot. I have the Innovate LM1 and can log 2 lambda chanels, with tps and rpm. But that is not what everyone wnats to spend. Now there is a new option. Christian from France had a diagnostics package. m5x for andoid. Now he made a new version that can log data too. So you can log the important parameters. To have usefull lambda information, An innovate mtxl or lc2 can be used, from which the linear analog output goes in the ecu on the lambda sensor pins. The logfile that it gives, you can do with it what you want, but I work with Cristian to let it give the file a format that Logworks, the package from Innovate can use. With that you can evaluate all nice in graphs and 3d views on screen. Logworks can be downloaded for free. The software for android: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] You need a bluetooth adapter from china and the fiat adapter you might have for guzzidiag. Logworks downlaod: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| I've tried this app and it did connect to the ecu via the bluetooth adaptor (had to buy two to get one to work) and it showed the TPS etc at work and it reset the TPS o.k. It is quicker than hooking up Guzzidiag and could be used away from home.
edit: Connected my iphone to the PC and found a scanlog file with data in Excel spread sheet form which showed the log of the lambda,RPM,TPS,advance, injector, pressure, air temp, engine temp and battery V over the time I had the engine running. No AFR to complete the picture of course. I have a AFR meter but how this relates to the app I have no idea or how to get the phones log file to work with the logworks software.

| Paul, Mark, Dave et al., can any of you confirm the compatibility of any of these ODB-II bluetooth senders?
Bluetooth ODB-II scan tools from Amazon
If I'm going to assist Mark at all in adapting the GRiSO map for the Stelvio, this might be useful data to share? --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2012 MOTO GUZZI GRiSO 1200SE2013 MOTO GUZZI STELVIO 1200NTX - Orange Blossom Special

| So far the logs produced are not compatible with Logworks. It produces a file formatted for spreadsheets. I am about to try another run. One issue is that when the android device locks it's screen, logging stops. I will report that to Christian.
I used an app to stop the android device sleeping. That works. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! .

From the link that Paul sent, Christian says he's addressed the sleep issue in the latest update.

| Having used the app a bit more it's main function when logging for me is to identify the TPS ranges that you are riding in, which if a full monty data logger is not available at least allows you to concentrate on the areas of the fuel table that will make a difference. You still need a AFR meter to know how much to alter the mixture by but it is taking more of the guess work out of the process. If the thing can be used with graphing software rather than a jumbled spread sheet it would be even better. | |

| For the conversion to logworks, I have a macro in excel to convert it. And Christian has made an application to do it. But we are still discussing details. The idea now is that it logs the main injection things and two fields that you can choose out off all available. For real lambda an innovate device or another wideband lambda is needed, and it's output can be fed n the ecu, instead of the original sensor. A log from that setup: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And that can be viewed as: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]same in 3d: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and path to software, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]but translation software is not final. But it works. | |

| And just Christian mentioned an update: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]And it makes a .DIF file that logworks will open direct! next to the csv I just tried. | |

| Hi Paul I just reinstalled ScanM5X onto my phone and did a log. It created a csv and a DV movie file not a DIF file. | |

| No Paul just two files scanlog09-101809 crv and scanlog09-101809 dv neither which can be opened by the logworks 3 software. I can open the crv file with the scanlog converter but not save it. | |

| No need for scanlog converter anymore, the latest version creates a complete dif for Logworks. What version do you have from scanm5x? should be beta 0.04 Rename the dv to dif on your PC. | |
