Any pictures of the light's output, i.e. at night time?

Had a ride e few days ago... and there is a big difference especially when driving curves. Well I do not have an action cam... but the company did a lot of movies. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Perhaps the $ will reduce in good time...

I am working as Press Officer for Parts Europe - mother company is Parts Unlimited - which you might know in the US. So I did not pay the full price to test the headlight.
In Europe the price will be around 820 € - depending on different VAT in the countries. But now J.W. Speaker made it easy to find all LED-Headlights for metric bikes on their website. There is a look-a-like without the high-tech in there too, which is cheaper. But I agree with keenerkeen07... it does look cool, but it is definetly a huge step forward in terms of safety. I would never change again.

Be happy! Do Chinese give you 5 years warranty? Do they have DOT and EC-Approval?

I just bought one of these for my 8V SE. Paid just over $800 CAD from J&P in the US. Looks like I need an adapter ring to mount it. Did you have any issues mounting it?

It is not possible to mount the headlight into the OEM housing. You need to buy a separate housing for the GRiSO. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Definitely clever tech, but they look like a surveyor's instrument with a price to match!

I agree, I installed one too (mine is not lean-sensitive) and I appreciate the difference though the buy in was still steep. I appreciate the brighter DRL in the urban area I ride in, and the greater reflectivity after dark. Hey, they put your muffler on the wrong side, what's the scoop with that?

I have light envy! My Sport has a "special" headlight (shared with the Breva) and I can't fit anything that is not standard. Probably why I grafted on a 10" light bar to spot skippy...
Not even enough room to put in a non-standard globe - tight as.

After 50,000km, my stock muffler blew the baffle loose and it began to rattle. Got my hands on an Arrow exhaust and relocated it to the other side. Got a custom map that also required the evap delete, which really makes the bike look better.
