Just out of curiosity, what's the actual point with a belly pan? personally I think it looks cool, - depending on the shape, but I'm sure there is a practical reason why they are made in the first place. Is it to lead cooling air on to the engine, does it have a spoiler effect, is it to shuffle dirt or what?

Stops rocks comming up and smashing the sump pan Was never a fan of belly pans as as prefferd the exposed look of the Guzzi motor, until I aquired this bike that came with this pan.

Actually believe it or not the Stucci Belly pan is still in production!!!
I wrote a piece on social media cus some bloke was interested in sourcing a bellypan/chin spoiler. One bloke popped out the woodwork his mate had made carbon copies and still had some. They needed minor mods as designed for a short sump 2015/2016 bike, never said if came with copy mounts. I digress I said same thing "Stucci Pan was out of production". Guess who flamed me Stucci chirped in with it still being available and a dead link with no picture. So flamed him back with his shitty dog slow website and the no picture link that was unsearchable on his website. He reckons is having a newer website created but that the belly is still in production Have at him state of that effing link
I'd hyperlink it with a solo word but dont know how to perform that action when I dont have any private webspace to host it from??

Just link directly to the website, as I've edited for you, instead of using all these ridiculous Facebook links.

Stucci was silly to stop production or if he didnt then lose sight on his website of the product, new owners come along all the time and lots want a pan. Decent money to be made

it was never my intent to go to the extent of getting moulds made and then fronting up with $8K to make the pans. I tried to reach out to Stucci a number of times to get some costs for pans. Emails werent answered, no website at the time with any info.. I had a pan on my bike anyhow...
But a couple of people asked where they could get them etc when they saw mine so I got to thinking, if I crowdfunded the mould and got 20 people wanting to buy them, then spread the cost, then I would do it. Mostly everyone who showed interest bought one. I had a couple of fibreglass and a couple of carbons left over and sold most since. All were done and sold at cost.

oh, and the amusing side to this was that the person who asked me multiple times to do it was also , in the end, the hardest one to part with the dollars to buy it !
