| I have a little oil leaking. It looks like it comes from between the transmission cage and the engine. How likely is that? Is there a gasket between those two? Can't find it on the drawings.

| No, the clutch area is dry.
What year model?
Is it engine or gear oil?
There is a substantial slot in the bottom of the bell housing. Make sure the oil is coming from there and report back.

| It's a 2015 model. Smells like engine oil. I'll check it. Could be coming from the flange or oil sump too. I need to remove the exhaust to get a better view on the source of the leakage. | |

| First thing to check would be both the drain plug and the condensate return hose fitting. There are several leak points in the bell housing area but leakage from them is very rare.

| Just cleaned up the mess and checked all nuts and bolts. Most of the greasy mess was in the area of the dip stick. It looks like my dealer spilled some oil during last service. Some bolts on the oil sump could use tightening too. Did the job. All clean and checked now. I will look again after a few days riding. Cross my fingers... | |

| Just went looking again if I could see any leakage again and yes.
Leaking on the oil sump gasket. | |
