I don't know what emoji to use. The tappets have lost their case hardening. Do I get some sort of exclusive club membership, or a badge at least? So it is ship the bike off to Mr Roper for rollerising, bearing packing and the beetle supplied map.
Must focus on the sunshine that will follow when the bike is back and (as someone else said on this site) the new sound of "mechanical butterflies".

Don't feel special, it happens to every flat tappet 8V eventually.
