| Just returned from our two week tour of Spain and to my embarrassment I had a repetitive problem when making tight manoeuvres with the Bike. Every single time the handlebars were turned to full right hand lock the bloody engine cut out, clock and lights remained on.
Anyone else experienced this?
I am thinking something weird is going on with the ignition / starter/ kill switch unit.

| Often combined with the Horn sounding on left turns. But... if not the tank bag thingy, the wiring harness may have been pinched in the steering stops on the lower triple tree, a cut wire might be earthing the kill switch remotely. Does the kill switch still function normally ? | |

| Kill switch functions normally but is very sensitive, you do not have to push it far before it does it`s job.
I am pretty certain it was the tank bag that was killing my engine. The engine does not cut out on full rh lock when the tank bag is not fitted.
My harness`s although taut do not appear to be chaffing or compressed anywhere.

| I owned a mint, 77 HD Low Rider for a long spell. I used to make a habit of looking back and down at my bike when riding for fear of something trailing along behind me that I'd forgotten to secure, or something else that had jangled loose in operation. After a particularly stressful (think roadside repair) afternoon and finally cruising along at warp speed, I again made my customary look back along both sides of my trusty steed. I hit the kill switch with my helmet when looking right - nicely coasting to a stop and cursing the motorcycle/HD gods. Took me a while to figure it all out - something simple and making me feel stoopid all at the same time. I don't believe I'll ever look at/operate another kill switch in the same manner without some memory flooding back. | |

| I once spent 45 minutes trying to kick start a Honda 400/4 at a petrol station in February, before I realised I had knocked the kill switch.

| The first day I got my new GRiSO from the dealer he wheeled it out next to the building and took my picture with me on it, we shook hands and he walked inside. I then tried to start it, while I was grinding away I saw the kill switch was on. Not used to a push button kill switch. Lucky for me no one was watching! | |
