| Thought I'd check the front motor to frame bolts by the headers only to find i could tighten them by hand. Re torqued them to about 65nm with thread lock. I'll be checking them more often now! | |

thanks Funny thing, my experience was the opposite. For about 12,000 miles I used to think one of the virtues of the 8V GRiSO was its fabulous, vibration-free motor. I even ditched the bar-end weights and did not notice much of a difference on a number of high-speed tours. Then, while installing the roller kit, i found the left front frame-engine bolt hanging loose. At the same time, the right-hand bolt remained torqued to spec. With both bolts torqued to spec, vibration has noticeably increased and i now get numb hands at times. The other weird thing is that the loose bolt did not seem to affect handling that much even when it was a total squid-show. New tires and the crude adjustments available with the stock suspension seems to make more of a difference. Sure miss that "smooth" motor, though. JL | |

| i dunno perhaps if they are not torqued to tight the engine can move slightly in the frame and the vibrations that are inherent to the engine are not as noticed | |
