Fuel cell & agostini exhaust questions

Hello everyone, is the fuel cell on the 16 GRiSO affected by the crap ethanol fuel that we have here in the states? Also, my dealer tells me that there is nothing that has to be done to the ecu when adding the agostini exhaust as the GRiSO's ecu will 'learn' the proper fueling - is this accurate? Thanks in advance.

There have been reports of bubbles/bulges in the tanks.

As for your dealer, he's got some of it right. It will re-trim the fuel, back to the lean values it trims every pipe with a stock map.

The GRS8V-03 map is a closed loop map. That means the lambda sensor will tell the ECU to trim the fuel to what it sees as 'Correct' so your bloke is right in so far as the ECU will 'Learn' the pipe. What it really means though is it will simply trim the fuel to the same crappy point regardless of the pipe, within reason. Thing is there is no need or reason to stick with the very pedestrian factory map when alternatives are easy and cheap.
