| OK, so the bikes that came back on a transporter were..........
Honda CBR600r and the Aprilia RSV Mille, sorry scott
The Honda's fuel pump died and although we rerouted the fuel pipe directly to the carbs, it would only run for 15 miles before the level of the fuel dropped to low to run. New fuel pump would take 5 days to deliver and we would be home by then, so it went home on a trailer. If we had been away for a longer time, we would have bought any old 12 volt pump and rigged it up.
The Aprilia killed its alternator. This is the second one that has been away with us over the years with the same fault, we had the last one fixed, a local aprilia dealer took one off of a bike in his showroom and we fitted that, again, not enough time for this holiday, it limped along for a few days charging the battery and unplugging as much as possible, which was fun in the tunnels without lights, but in the end called it a day.

| The GRiSO can stand several Sound thrashings , constantly touching a modified 9K Red line on a track day. Not a fault ! Bullet Proof ?, maybe, I'll let you know | |

Thought you might find this apropo. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]While i am awed by BMW's marketing, I think i'm going to puke if i see another "arted" up R9T custom. But Nate Kern's take on the R9T makes me want to take it all back and it paints a pretty convincing path toward making the GRiSO better. He may be a salesman but i think he won the BOTT class at Willow Springs this year at the AHMRA meet. Look forward to much more from yourself and Ghezzi, et al. It's very inspiring. I keep thinking about Roper's ex "Pinko", crusted in mud, missing a wheel, seat and tank, rotting away in an alley... Can you say, trackbike!!!!? Best, JL
