| Hi all,
I just bought an '07 GRiSO 1100 and I want to thank the contributors on this site for their info which helped me make my decision.
I've had an '85 LeMans 1000 and I have a 69 V700 that is coming along nicely so I thought I'd get a Guzzi from this century.
The ride home was fun and looking forward to putting a bunch of miles on it this spring and summer.
If others are riding in the Hudson Valley in NY let me know, I like an occasional group ride.

| Benvenuto! Do follow up on beetle's call for photos. I am his U.S. agent for punishing the who ignore him. Others here from N.Y., N.J., and eastern Pa., and I get your way now and then. Was just in DWG area last week. Stretch your new mount's legs by running down to the top of Virginia sometime, too. Bill | |

| Apologies for the lack of pictures. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I ride in Harriman alot, as I live nearby in Suffern. Maybe head up to the Bear Mountain car show when it starts, I try to go whenever I get the chance. I got the bike from a guy down in Queens. Nice guy only had it for a short while, too heavy for him. Gave a bunch of new stuff with it, levers, clutch master cylinder, oil , Guzzi filter, new bar end mirrors. Look like he planned to dress it up and it is pretty clean. Thanks for the welcome guys! | |

| Aha, Russian guy named Kris? I sold that bike to him in February. He is a bike flipper.
The good news: It is mapped, the swingarm and shock are lubed, the tappets are set and the FI are balanced.
The bad news: The midpipe is cracked and the speedo sensor only works on sunny days.
You got a great bike at a great price!

| Exactly, except he said he's Serbian.
Too f*ckin cool! You took nice care of it. Great to hear about the map, swingarm, shock and the FI.
He swapped out the mid-pipe and the speedo worked in a cloudy drizzle on my ride home so I guess I'm pretty golden!
Is it Beetle's map?
I should have just bought it from you if you live near Harriman. What're you riding now?

| Serbian eh, nice that he changed the midpipe! The original owner was a old-skool BMW guy. He had a TR6 (car) under restoration.
I only had the bike for 10 months. It was an emergency purchase after selling my '09 G12 and my '75 Eldo spitting its u-joint. No Guzzi to ride constituting an emergency in my reckoning.
The Eldo is back in action and I am now riding '13 G12 SE that has yet to see 5K miles
It is indeed a Beetle map and if you want to bring the bike by for a check-up feel free. I hope Kris didn't fiddle with anything vital.

| I'd be tempted to stop by to see your Eldo. As I said I've got a V700 I'm putting back together after swapping the case. Not too many loop frames in my neck of the woods. Maybe when the rain stops.

| I think I saw you ride through Tuxedo on Rt. 17 one day. Why is your loop in pieces? Routine maintenance ? | |

| Probably me on 17. The generator mounting points were both broken off of the existing case so I bought a low mileage case with a crank and rods and now I'm swapping the piston and barrels and the flywheel to the new case.
I should've already done it but life gets in the way sometimes.

Zoinks! You are a better man than I. Mine had a little issue with the u-joint. Fixed now. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
