| WCB (witchcityballabio) checking in. Technically, not a GRiSO owner, but my wife is. She has a 2011 SE which she holds most dear. I do steal it from her once in a while when I need to work the houligan out of myself a bit. Any who, here's a picture of it with the Teton's in the background. This was taken during our cross country trip a couple of summers ago. We left Seattle, headed up to Hyder, Alaska, then across the Icefield Parkway, down through Montana, Wyoming, Utah, etc, etc, and back to Salem, MA. Nearly 10,000 miles in 3 weeks. Fantastic trip and not one issue. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]In the Badlands... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Proud GRiSO rider.... | I have an ECU with it ready to go, but the weather has been absolute shit. We've gotten over a foot of snow in the last week and another 6 today.
I'm dying to ride the thing with it. Hope it works with our shit gas.

| The GRiSO map won't be anywhere close to ideal in the Stelvio. I'm grooming a couple of customers at the moment so we can develop a map for the Stelvio and the Sport/Norge 8V variants. Different air boxes and equal length pipes will make a significant difference we believe. Certainly enough to require a different map.

| Can't wait. I think the Stelvio also has a hidden beast within as well. I'd be glad to be a guinea pig. | |

| Doug and Jacqui are both barking mad. Why else would they be Guzzisti? We spent July 4 last year on their boat getting drunk as skunks and watching fireworks over Salem harbour! Good times! Top folks!

| We have a nice little stable of Guzzi's. Besides the GRiSO and Stelvio, also residind in the garage are an 04 Ballabio, a 1970 Ambassador that I restored a few years ago, a Cafe/ Roadster that I built for Jacquie, and a 1965 Guzzi Stornello that I'm currently working on.
I'll post some pictures of the other stuff in a bit.
It was tremendous fun having Pete and Jude around last Summer. And yes. We are crazier than shithouse rats.

| LOL. Yes, it's easy to see where Guzzi got the styling que's from.
I think the Stelvio is a lot like Ellen Barkin. Not all that great looking, but a killer body and a hint of dangerous sexuality.

| Okay. Here's some pictures of the other stuff in the garage... Jacquie's beloved Cafe/Roadster. It started life as a clapped out V1000 G5. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My $700 dollar 1970 Ambassador. The only thing in good shape when I bought it were the rims. The entire bike had been painted with white house paint. She has a much better and much loved life now. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]and the bike that started the sickness. My 04 Ballabio that now has about 70,000 miles on it presently and has been mechanically spotless. The bike still makes me smile every time I ride it. It also served as Jacquie's learning platform. She may love it even more than me. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Stornello is still mostly in pieces, but the engine is back in the frame, swingarm back on, etc. etc. This is what I'm hoping it look like when it's done. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Yes. We truly are Guzzi weirdo's. | |
