Subject: Is the Guzzi Museum really closed all of August? Mon Feb 08, 2016 5:35 pm
My wife and I have plans to be at Lake Como the last week of August this year. I've seen different schedules some showing the museum open in August and others showing it closed all of August. Certainly I can get a real answer from the "Ghetto". Help!

It usually is. When I was over in the UK in 2014, The town itself couldn't get any confirmation from the factory about their participation in the annual celebrations that year until after September had started. But you can always try your luck while there. It's Italy after all & the right somebodies may have got bored with doing nothing by the last week.
Whatever happens, I'm sure you'll find something pleasant to do in that neck of the woods.

If that doesn't work, then a ride in the hills, a walk around the lake could keep you occupied. Chat with those locals who haven't gone on holidays. Check if Agostinis is open. 'Strine still spoken there, I believe.
