| Changed the fluids and dropped the sump. Saw this odd whitish fluid in with the oil. The shots show it in the drain pan and the sump. Looking for comments and opinions. Cleaned the sump and reinstalled. Can't really say it's any quieter than before and seems to run fine. Dang lack of experience! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Probably a bi of mayonnaise. i wouldn't worry unduly.

| I've seen mayo, does not seem to be the same - but I'd rather take your word than mine!
Maybe I'll split the difference and change the oil again in a thousand or so miles.
I forgot to add: I did the oil change cold - figured I was dropping the sump anyway.

| The rollerization kit used a black grease (I was able to view the kit prior to install) as it came from the factory. As I understand the process, there would not be a reason to use any further assembly grease.
But I like your thought process. That would have been something to look into. | |
