Milestones

Today we reached 100 members, congratulations mikebr from Canada!  

On January 11th, at 12:13pm we had our 1000th post (maybe not at 12:13, but anyway...)

We've got a nice mix of folks from all over the world.  From what I can gather we've got 18 Australasians, 6 Canadians, 17 Europeans, 1 Argentine and 50 some Americans scattered about.  There are a handful of folks I've no idea where they are from.  It's pretty amazing that we've got folks spread so far and wide, so if you feel like letting us know where you're from, just update your location in your profile and identify with a local ghetto in your own neck of the woods.

At any rate, glad to see all of you fellow GRiSO freaks here and I hope this grows into a great resource for we, the lucky few.  We who appreciate this obscure, but lovely, Italian motorbike.

Today we reached 150 members when the GRiSOless [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] joined [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].  The GRiSOless are now 13 strong - their lust will get the best of them in due time...

We're also nearing the 2000th board post mark, and our membership truly has an international flair with every continent save Antarctica represented...  The GRiSO's reach is wide! Just like the handlebars...

Good suggestion, I second that.

Not that there will be a lot of gripes, but it would be helpful for those noobs who are thinking about falling under the spell...

Ten years ago WG was a pretty interesting place. I still go there but mainly through habit.

I think one factor that helps this board is that it all feels very chummy - sort of "Steaks Pub" as opposed to the "Food court" feel some sites have which seem to encourage yelling over the din. (OK, enough with the lame analogies)

And it's got a Fonzi emoticon!

I really like that "pub" style.
I like a forum where I feel like I'm hanging at the pub razzing my riding buddies.

I don't think we have a problem here. If you've had a bad experience and want to post a "gripe" start a thread in the GRiSO Experience section, or if it is a mechanical issue post it in the GRiSOLOGY section. See where this is going?
