| G,day fellers, I was just having a look at the workshop manuals for the 1100 and 1200 8V and the settings are the same 39 thou and 59 thou, i thought the 8V was 6 & 8 thou, could someone shed some light on that for me please 59 thou that's 1 ml seems a lot.

| I think you'll find its 3.9 & 5.9 thou after converting 0.1mm and 0.15mm to thousandth's of an inch. So, 4 & 6 thou. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| Pushrod engine? Four and six thou or 0.1 and 0.15mm
40 thou to the mm for all the things you need to worry about. The sums are easy.

| Just throw your ancient imperial feeler gauge out the window and buy a metric replacement | |

| Why? A measurement is a measurement. I find thou for small sizes easier than metric but really at the end of the day it matters not a jot.
