Sorry if this is a dumb question but my rear light has started working only now and again, do I have to strip the rear plastics off to get to it ? Or can it be removed independently ?

To answer my own question yes but its dead easy - I sorted it in about 10 mins this morning, strip off the rear cowling and clean up the contacts
