| Not getting the cool little ECU connected display? I have the drivers the lonelec cables. The light on the cables turns red with the positive clip on the battery and the obd plugged in. I tried even using diag AND the reader to backup my factory map and nothing on each. The bike is a 2015 GRiSO SE

| I seem to recall I had a hiccup figuring out which COM port was correct on my computer when I first tried it. Try all the different COM port options and see if you can find the one that works. I think mine ended up being #5. | |

| Haha problem fixed itself. I was stubborn and tried it five more times and it magically connected. Doing factory map backup as we speak. At about 50% | |

| First time trying to use my cables and Guzzidiag... though I purchased the cables more than a year ago... 2014 Norge. Loneck cables kit. Have a black one that connects to the bike and a positive lead for the battery. (No ground lead and I understand newer versions come with a ground lead) anyway the thing that hooks to the bike connects to another one that converts it to us. Thing is that when I'm all connected I get no red light on the one plug... my first guess is a bad cable? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

| The 3-16 adapter with the red clip lead gets its ground through the ECU lead. If you have no light when it's all connected and the red clip lead is attached to the battery positive, then either you have a bad cable, or no ground through the ECU lead.
Also, as the Norge has ABS, make sure you're using the right connector. The ABS lead looks the same, IIRC.

| Eric, I already loaded Mark’s map for the stock exhaust. Unless you’re swapping it for an aftermarket one, no need to remap. Don | |

| Thanks for the quick replies!
Beetle: I grabbed the connector onset the seat by the fuse box. I'll see if I grabbed the wrong lead.
LBC: Not playing with maps. Bike ran great btw. I just did valve adjustment and wanted to do tps reset.

| Glad to hear you’re enjoying it, Eric. Another way to reset TPS is to simply pull the 30 amp main fuse for a few seconds. | |

Err? No. Pulling the fuse will clear the saved trims, it won't re-set the TPS. Also,if you've just done a valve clearance check the TPS value will remain unchanged. It's the high speed balance of the throttlebodies that throws out the TPS interpretation. | |

| Did the map back-up/load process on Pata Negra yesterday, was pure plug and play for me. HP Flaptop auto-detected the cable directly and comport no need to scroll comports for me, easy-peasy. Now, just need to go out and run it! Stay safe where-ever you are! | |
