| On my 2014 SE the left side switch gear has what appears to be a metal peg for aligning the switch to the bar. I don't think I can dremel the post with out heating up the plastic to the point of warping. The right side switchgear has a plastic post that I can probably dremel down to flat without creating too much heat. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.... | |

| Wrap a piece of masking tape around the area the peg should contact. Position the switch module where you want it, press into the tape for a locator, center punch and drill. It's not much to do and you save those pegs for later install on oem bars. | |

| jomartijr great suggestion, I will probably revert to stock bars at sometime. I was out of masking tape and I could not get a firm impression on electrical tape. So I used the wife's nail polish, just a dab on the peg and I had a pretty pink spot on the bar. Thank you for chiming in, got me thinking..... | |

| I drilled mine too. Although I hope I never have to go back to the stock bars. I am riding with an old friend tomorrow who has a 2014 Cali 1400. Hopefully the Mana bars are comfy, this guy can ride all frickin day with out a break. | |

| The Mana bars felt very weird at first, but by the second ride I'd wondered why I hadn't done it sooner. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| Mana bars have less wingspan and more pull-back. They're also a poxy sort of silver-grey. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ..[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.].In GRiSO we trust! . | |

| Get 'em powder coated.
I actually like them on the Mana but they do look shithouse on the GRiSO, especially your black one. I don't have too much of a problem with the stock bars. I did get a bit of wankers wrist on the way to Long Flat but it was nothing like as bad as what I could see you were suffering.
Ones I really like are Mark S's which are made by Pro-Taper or someone but I think I'll wait for a bit as I've just scored a Corbin seat from one of my customers who just burnt his GRiSO to the ground. He had the seat off it when it combusted so he offered it to me at a silly price. That might change what bars I need.

Pete Hmm - something (spanner/wrench ?) shorting-out the exposed battery terminals ??? Saw the aftermath of a 'mechanic' doing that on a car: it had 'welded' the spanner to the battery.....

Pete Spontaneous combustion? Maybe the poor GRiSO fell asleep with a lit cigarette. RIP

| I ordered a set of these bars on Saturday, hope to have them in a week or so. I think I will have them powder coated, as a friend does that. Black or red? | |
