In another thread on this site, there was a member who was at daytona bike week and had chatted with the piaggio folks. One of the ideas that was brought up was make it a single throttle body, redesign the air box and put the abs pump there. That seems to make good sense.

And the chat was with the Importer based in NYC, not Piaggio.
Buuuut, none of this is written in stone so they could always come up with a surprise. Good or bad.
They might completely re-design the bike with a liquid cooled mill, who knows... unless Piaggio is serious about a new Le Mans type of bike.
Eventually Guzzi will have to go LC anyway, to carry on with the Industry.

Hahaha, you are on some good stuff. Maybe a spring loaded pooper valve on the big hole would work, opening at the higher rpm's

I agree Pete.
Piaggio and Italians for that matter, are too fickle to believe anything concrete from them.
Only a finished product is a sure thing, we don't have that yet.
The new push for more marketing is a good thing though. Something new is brewing..

I will get a "chubby" over a blue or grey GRiSO with the black frame and cast wheels.

I agree with Pete, i'll believe it when I see it sitting in the af1 showroom. Or when I have a deposit on it. Wink

Thanks Steak, some of those are pretty sweet. There is even a GRiSO in there with a side car, now that seems completely retarded to me, but to each his own. My personal opinion of the Kattiva is that they kind of overdid the red, but again, you can't please everyone. It's all moot now anyway, Beetle barfed all over my idea.

I just wish they would give any new model of GRiSO just an extra 4 litres of fuel capacity - it would make trips with mates on other bikes a little more synchronised
