Finally!! I be on a GRiSO

I've been lusting after one since they first released. After a fairly gentle lowside on my "12 Tuono a few months back, I concluded my hardcore sport riding days are over (somewhat, anyway Wink

) since I'm nearly 58 now and the focus, vision & reaction time ain't what they used to be, eh? I still want to ride with a good, fun pace, of course, and so, the GRiSO came roaring back to my consciousness.!! So much so, that I sold the Tuono recently and today bought a new 2014........ I specifically wanted the silver & black scheme.... Me like so much

I've owned other Guzzis....... '00 Jackal (I was an idiot for ever selling that), '04 Ballabio, and still have an '02 Scura (twitchy sucker!) Also currently ride '14 KTM Adventure for my long ride stuff. I reside in Central California and am lucky to enough to be close to and ride the excellent Sierra Nevada mountains we have here in Cali.

So, new that the only pic I got is the wife taking a shot out the window today coming back from the shop over my lunch hour.....

Located between Fresno & Bakersfield. Unfortunately, 2.5 hours from coast, but, fortunately, 20 minutes to the Sierras. Being near the mountains is far and away the best thing about the area. A great day ride is going up and over the Sierras on Monitor Pass and back again over Ebbetts Pass....... a 10 hour jaunt that never, ever gets old!!

However, not for too much longer. My wife and I flew to SeaTac last Friday and rented a car to explore Port Angeles & Sequim area and we're absolutely smitten........ looks likely to be our early retirement home (with in next 12 months)

Come on over we'll get you out on the some of good stuff around here. Actually, how about a "home n home"?? where we'll tour you around these parts and we'll come over and you tour us around there.

As a matter of fact, for the past few years my wife has hosted a Guzzi "Not-A-Rally" rally based from Visalia. It's a casual thing that's gotten kinda popular. If she does it this year you outta join. (BTW, she's been on a Rosso Corsa for years)

I was thinking of giving you a hard time for being in the Central Valley but if you are that close to the Sierra's you are Golden.
