Agostini Carbon Fiber Mudguard Empty
PostSubject: Agostini Carbon Fiber Mudguard   Agostini Carbon Fiber Mudguard Icon_minitime1Thu Oct 03, 2013 6:19 pm

A local Breva rider purchased the carbon fiber mudguard from Agostini and is looking to get rid of it. I'm interested but he complained that it started to rub the finish off directly in front of the tire (that's why he's getting rid of it). Does anyone have any experience with these? Anyone with the same experience, or did he just mount it too close?
Here's a link to the product:

Thanks.

Rub the finish off of the CARC unit or the hugger? Either way, in looking at the photo, it seems adjustable for a "free float" between the tire and the CARC.

I have the version from Skidmarx though, so no direct experience with the Agostini product.

I believe he said it was rubbing the finish off the carc... Either way, he said that we can try it out and see if we can make it work. I'm selling him the PCV and Autotune from the 1200 Sport and am willing to knock off a hundred bucks if he gives me the hugger and if it's in good condition and isn't going to cause any damage. I can't see how I wouldn't be able to adjust it to make it work... Oh well, will have to wait and see.
