| Hey, anybody put rear sets on their GRiSO? I'm 6'1" with longer legs than most, and I'm finding I'm sitting on my tail bone with my legs hiked up more than I'd like. I could see just having my feet a little back. Anybody tried this? | |

| I went with the lowered pegs and extended toe pegs from Knight Design...really made the bike more comfortable for my 64 year old body.....the Corbin seat helps, too.... | |

| Did the lowered pegs cut into the fun factor of the GRiSO? I have an '87 LeMans and the pegs are high and back, for me it's all day comfortable and I never scrape them. I'm not a real hot dogger. | |

| Good day gents - yes, I also need to have rear sets for my 2007 1100. I have added clip-ons, under the triple clamp, made by Paolo Tarozzi, Italy. Rear sets: One option is to get a set from Ipothysis in Italy. Their communication is slow and do not answer their emails regularly. Check out: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Yes, your bike can look like the Aria V12. The problem though is that it seems the position is exactly the same as original, which leaves us back to square 1. Another option is item 300458114 from Stein Dinse in Germany - but once again, it seems it is exactly in the same position as original: Refer [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]So, back to square 1. So, last resort for me: Take it to an engineering shop, try a common set of rear sets and modify till it fits. Comments? |

| I did both links. ipothesys had some pictures of things. rear sets and clip-ons. No prices. I thought "How does this work? Select the item and let them take however much money they want?"
But when I clicked on the item it didn't refresh anything.
So, take it to a fab shop or wait until I buy a CNC and try it myself. I'm guessing six months for that?

| You have to email them for pricing. I think around Euro 650 for the rear set with a 40 day waiting period. |

| The nice thing about the Ipothesys rearsets, is you remove the two side black panels which crack off the bottom in a low speed and prevent you from riding home.
Does anyone on the note of rearsets, know of sport bike foot peg that might replace the GRiSO's smooth aluminum. I already have the space clam adjustable drop pegs, but I am about to drop my front end and want to go back to stock but want a sticky foot peg like Vortex, Gilles, Space Clam. Knight only makes a 1" drop so that's out.
Keep us posted on figuring out how to put rearsets on your GRiSO.. if you do decide to have some modified. Thanks Chris | |
