| Evening all, I got the GRiSO during the summer and love it. It's a 2007 model and had only 2700 miles on the clock. Used to have a 1200 sport and regretted selling it - knew i needed another. So far it's got a hugger and gpr titanium exhaust, runs pretty well but struggling to get the suspension set up right. Hopefully a bit of searching on here will set me straight. The bikes mainly for weekend riding. Touring, track and commuting is done on the trusty Fireblade FB | |

| Welcome to the forum FB. Lots of good info and helpful people here. The things you do on the Fireblade you can do on the GRiSO. It brings out the inner hooligan. | |

| I didn't accomplish much with my front forks settings so I just matched them to the rear. | |

| Yeah makes sense. There's no record on the service details of the fork oil ever having been changed so that'll be an Xmas holiday job to look forward to. | |

| Welcome FB Glad to hear you are back on a Guzzi! Would be interested to find out whether or not you end up riding the GRiSO more than you are currently thinking you will. I think it's a real possibility | |

| Hello and welcome.
Yes the suspension needs setting up, depends upon your weight, and the spring is too soft at the back. Still working on mine, i haven't changed the front yet just dropped the forks to the fifth ring to sharpe up the steering, it feels as though it drops into corners, see below!
The rear need softening up, it seems as though they have compensated for a soft spring with hard settings these made a huge difference but show up the soft spring.
Rebound 38 Compression 1.5
Finally i replaced the Metzeler tyres that came with it, they relly are awful, i stuck a pirelli diablo on the back and it has made a HUGE differnence, as much as changing the rear suspension and have the same going on the front, which i am hoping will sort the steering out and then i can play with the front, next purchase is a slightly stiffer spring.
Good luck with it, its a great bike!

I was at the 5th for a while then tried the 6th. Magic!! I also tried the 7th (bottom) line and it was too far. Do the 6th. | |
