Why? Is there something wrong with a GRiSO?

Just that ugly rumor that MG is going to stop making them.

| Well, they'll keep the GRiSO for non-European markets since there's no ABS mandatory in those other markets... | |

| There's nothing wrong with a GRiSO, but like most bike firms, they have to have more than just two models to bring home the bacon | |

| Even if there was nothing wrong with the GRiSO; at some point it has to be refreshed or replaced as the market and tastes pass it by. Lot's of good bikes in the past; replaced, at some point, with newer and "better". Some really were better. | |

...only to be recreated 30 to 40 years hence as a 'retro'. Though 40 years from now who knows what will be permitted by the powers that be. These, no doubt in my mind, are the good old days (sigh)...

| The present is the first time in history (AFAIK) that Retro has been popular or even possible. If my dad had this same opportunity he would say, "Horse and cart, no thanks". In 30 years time the old farts wanting to relive their youth could only reminisce about soulless R1's and CBR's, that fact alone will keep the demand very low. |

| I think I've seen this elsewhere on this forum, but maybe it was on another. I'm sure some of you have seen it from somewhere by now. Pretty awesome, but don't know how the frame would hold up. I think think that what with the relative popularity of the V7 series, something like this would be a no-brainer for Moto Guzzi to do.

| The whole misnomer with that bike is the only V7 parts are tank, seat & side covers. Motor obviously is G12, but the chassis is a Tonti derivative, meaning big block original as in T3, Cali, Le Mans etc. |

That was meant to be a rhetorical question.
