25M FL native WI residing I'm a fledgling rider with a grip on the fundamentals. I took the HDBRC, grabbed the insurance & endorsement. Banished my fear and swung the leg, rode the GRiSO (Lauren) today ~25 miles. (oil light scare @ a couple lights but I checked it out & think its a gasket or sensor, will see local MG dealer). Planning on a few k miles before hitting any major freeways but i was very comfortable & alert while riding. Still learning everything from smooth downshifting to best maintenance practices. The Bike is perfect, I must become worthy. Any & all advice is greatly appreciated. Just wanted to say hi and hopefully not offend too many of you gentlemen with my sins.

Welcome to the Ghetto! I wish I could say my first bike was a GRiSO! I can pretty safely say, it will be my last.

Oil light could be a faulty pressure switch. You can search topics in the Search tab at the top of the page. Good luck with your GRiSO.

Welcome to the Ghetto. That is a very pretty GRiSO.
Oil lights and oil can symbols are well-documented gremlins here at the Ghetto. Hopefully your dealer can help you, but if not, you have come to the right place.

Welcome home. Better being a GrisoNoob than being a GrisoBoob. I remember that giddy, just-fell-in-love-with-it feeling with the GRiSO. It was too much bike for me as well. My advice; build the relationship, take it slow, keep a diary. Buy the tools and do as much work on the bike as you can. Learn from riding schools, on-site and online (Yamaha Champ School). I've been saying that my GRiSO keeps getting better - but it's not just about the bike, is it?.

Looks like a 2015+, in which case it would not be a sump gasket.

How goes the first summer aboard a bike? I thought I was nuts starting out my adult moto journey on a Jackal (1100 cc cruiser-ish)
Starting on a GRiSO will certainly command your focus!
I find myself more bonded and in love with the GRiSO the longer I own it.
