| Thought I’d intro’d myself here when I registered, but see that I have not, thus this. Retired from the army and the law, but not from Guzzis, grandbabies, and Kathi’s “honey-do” list. The order is generally reversed from what I just typed in here. Live at the tip-top of Virginia, i.e, the “Real" Northern Virginia, not the D.C. metro blob. Life is so good it is (near) embarrassing. But I will muddle on, tho as the pic, below, shows, I am usually lost, whatever I am doing, whether wrenching or riding. In that pictured case, btw, I (think I) was here: https://goo.gl/maps/S8bS8 I’m a long way from there now, and live in an area of wonderful back roads, but will always miss the Driftless area. Bought my GRiSO -- in the only proper color for an Italian motorcycle -- from Jim Baron at Rose Farm Classics; what a great guy and shop. http://rosefarmclassics.com And, while we now live in the wilds, am only 15 miles from a (very fine) Guzzi dealer, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] So, if ever up (or down) this way, stop in, visit the Moto Grappa, and say howdy. We usually have a spare bedroom (and Guzzi) for Guzzisti who get lost themselves. Bill [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| Hi Bill, I noticed you were on the member list but were quiet I thought you'd decided to rest up and no riding until the hernia was properly sorted? Temptation getting the better of you?................... Pete | |

| Well, Pete. NOT riding the real thing has given me the need to "ride" the boards instead of the roads. I figure that -- except for a brief test ride of a friend's GRiSO newly fitted with MPR4 GT's -- I am pretty well doomed to be off the saddle for a few more weeks ... just in time for salted roads and brrrr temps. Oh, well. Suppose that gives me time to go down to the Moto Grappa and fiddle with things on the Guzzis I really should not touch. Best, Bill | |

| Hola, Bill. We'll have to address the "proper color" comment when you're feeling better. | |

| I don't get to Virgina much 'cept to play around @ Summit Point with my Formula 2000. I suppose that is in your backyard?
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to another GRiSO owner, they aren't growing like weeds around my neck of the woods. (i.e. I've yet to ever see another one but I'm new at this) | |
