Number 17 rubber cap blew out. How much oil pressure loss can that incure? Is it enough to cause damage internally? Outside of the mess of oil on left side of crankcase and cylinder of course.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

It won't affect oil pressure at all (until the entire contents of the sump empty out of it - which won't happen) as it's 'only' a separator to catch entrained oil/mist from the blow-by gases & return any captured oil back to the sump (often as an oil/fuel/water emulsion if operating cool weather)

Wot Paul said. You can generally treat the 'Condom' as we call it as a consumable, they last five or six years in our climate. Breather hoses are much the same.

I've replaced all but the heavy braded line to back of sump. What kinda life can I expect out of that line? That lines got 10 years and 70thou miles on it.

I've only replaced a couple but if they get leaky just take it to a hose shop and get them to replace the 'Hose' part using the old pipe. Just explain its function and that it will be near heat and they'll work something out.
