| That is its new to me, an 09 model with only 2249 miles on the clock but receipts for £5,500 of work including new crank and cases!! I guess that's what put people off in the local triumph shop. But i was looking for a new bike, it is my 66th and had bought a new california back in the 90's when my driving license said i needed to!! I had gone to the shop for triumph bits and while there sat on it, i had seen one a few years ago and always thought it was a great bike so sold the triumph and bought it without even a test ride!! In the middle of sorting out the suspension (almost there) and putting some miles on it, then its spend some time on the injection as it hunts on a steady throttle, yes i know they all do it and over winter a little strip down and grease up, has anyone raised the back end a little? Love the bike, love the style (is it steampunk?) love the handling (i guess the pegs go down when i get really used to it?) can live with the ride quality, overall still in the early stages of smitten. Have put an original screen on it and started the adjustments, thats it for now. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Yes it probably does lol!! It actually came from the race team, we needed a name, the Dr was a distant memory at the time so most people couldn't work it out and thought my name was Sid lol!
While we are on that sort of subject beetle, i am sure that the GRiSO was in fact given the name as a anagram of a famous bike cartoon character... | |

| Gee Sid, you're bloody worse than me, I've only had about 40 bikes in 40 years ..... lost count. 'bout 26 accidents too but after a few head knocks I can't be sure anymore. |
