Herb at C&H cycles in Atascadero, CA has been wrenching reliably and affordably on my guzzis ever since he was a wrench at the original Moto International site in South Seattle, 20 years ago. He's also well versed in Ducatis and Beemers and a really honest, sincere guy to deal with. (805) 461-6686

Would like to put in a good word for Valley Moto located in Chiliwack, BC..
Purchased my GRiSO from Gord Mitten a few years ago and have received excellent service from both he and Gord Hill, the service manager. Both are stand-up guys with integrity that I will enjoy dealing with into the future.

I would also suggest Corsa Italiana in England. I sourced a lot of European fiddly bits from them.

I very much support this! I also got my GRiSO from Valley Moto last summer, and have only good impressions (and a beautiful bike).

Highly recommended! Jingusi is a trailblazer of the Guzzi technicians in Japan.

Wakey your best bets are Motociclo in Sydney, Dave Ward in Sydney or Pete Roper in Bungendore. If you go see Pete, you will get to see a bit more of the country and could turn it into a 3 day ride - now that's an idea. Stay at the pub and get pissed with Pete and Jude (Pete's wife)

Forza Italia Silverstone Can't recommend them enough. Really know their stuff on anything Italian. Great friendly service and a courtesy bike, should you need it.

Does anyone have advice for a good Guzzi mechanic in Melbourne/Victoria. Australia? From my reading the dealerships have all changed and I'm not sure where the knowledgeable Mechanics may be working currently.

What are you actually needing? Just servicing or something more? I ask because there are people who I know and trust but, like me, they are independents. Having said that if you're looking for people with a deeper knowledge base? Well, it doesn't come much deeper than me and Big Mike. So it might be worth a trip up to see us. Not trying to big note is but nor am I going to hide our light under a bushel.
The current 'Dealership' network I know nothing about apart from the fact that I dislike what I'm seeing coming through from them.

I believe you're in NSW Pete ? It would be a long way I guess that my needs are fairly simple. Servicing and maybe at some point going down the mapping optimisation route without unnecessary additional tech such as the "Memjet" I believe is fitted to my bike . Having a mechanic who I can know is doing a good job by me and my motorbike with no smoke and mirrors. What I would LIKE is someone local to Melbourne who would be prepared to offer help/mentorship so that I feel comfortable doing servicing and basic trouble shooting myself. My fear is that I'll be getting my bike serviced by someone who's new to Guzzi and not doing a good job which seems a viable outcome in Melbourne with dealerships changing. Perhaps I'm being overly paranoid?

I use 68/75 mm Kennedy C spanner....it still needed hammer and rod to get the rings moving first.

Can anyone recommend a MG workshop in the U.K., ideally south? Seems many respected operators have closed, Forza Italia being one recently. Just want someone for GRiSO 8v service and familiar with setting up throttle/TB/TPS, but not sure where to go!

I took mine to Streffords in Worcester for it's first service. They seem to know what they're doing and have good rep. Bit of a trek for you though. Or motocorsa in Salisbury

Moto Corsa nearer but is it worth the extra miles to go to Streffords. Happy to travel and enjoy the ride!

Ok. Think I'll try Streffirds as it's summer and weather looks good. I'll give em a call. Thanks for the suggestion.

Mine is 12 months old and booked in at Twiggers for this Saturday. Quoted £320 - £350 for engine oil / filter, gear oil, final drive oil, valve check and throttle body balance. It sounds expensive but my hands are tied as the bike is under warranty. I will report back after the service!
